Day 187, 7/6/2013 - Eat, this morning farm fresh peaches on our way to the Seaside Farmers market. Once there we shopped and got fresh eggs, milk, ice cream and mozzarella. We had lattes and a savory scone at Amavida Coffee & Tea. Although it was still cloudy we enjoyed the view as we sat in the pavilion at Seaside. Once home from our mornings shopping we enjoyed the fresh mozzarella, a Proteini (no alcohol involved, just chocolaty protein goodness), and caught up on our social media and blogging. And what better time to watch the entire first season of Downton Abbey. During our Downton Abbey marathon we paused for our shrimp boil, pomegranate martinis (this time with alcohol) and fresh key lime pie for dessert (nothing better than fresh homemade key lime pie).
Pray, I prayed for the travelers that were leaving town in the rain after their week in the Destin area. I prayed that they return to their home states and towns safely and without incident. Joy, my joy was in the simple pleasure of watching Downton Abbey for the first time with my friend on yet another rainy day. Dare I say that we are both somewhat hooked now. If rain and clouds continue I think season 2 is in our future. When life gives you rain, look for the rainbow!
