Day 309, 11/5/2013 - Eat, stopped into Panera this morning and took advantage of the Tuesday special, baker's dozen bagels for $6.99. I had a pumpkin pie bagel for breakfast with a little cream cheese, awesome. For lunch it was an Asiago cheese bagel with their chicken salad and another cupcake. Life is just better with cupcakes...they make me happy. Guess you could say I am officially on a bagel kick. Met my rehearsal buddies at Rosa's Cafe for Taco Tuesday. Got my usual, the beef taco plate, which includes three tacos, rice, beans, sauces and two fresh flour tortillas. All for less than $5...such a deal!

Pray, prayers are for continued healing from my recent injuries. I am currently going through physical therapy. Part of it feels really good and the other part is like torture. I pray that I get to a happier medium soon. Joy, my joy today was in listening to and watching several musical items on YouTube. Music always puts me in a better place whether I am singing, ringing or just listening.

Why blog? Why now?

Similar to the popular book "Eat Pray Love" I divorced after many years of marriage. I felt a need to rediscover or reinvent myself. Unlike the person in the book, I do not have unlimited funds. Yes, I will do some traveling, but mostly in the United States, maybe other points from time to time. Eat, I love to eat and experience new tastes, check on point #1. Pray, I was raised and remain grounded in traditional religion and desire a more spiritual/prayerful connection, check on point #2. Point 3, Love, is where my journal will differ. In my effort to reinvent myself, I choose to find and experience Joy in every day. You see, I feel that love and joy are synonymous with one another. Until I have joy from within, I do not feel I can love another fully. This all said, I began my simple journal of Eat, Pray, Joy/Love on January 1, 2013. I recorded and posted my observations daily or every couple of days for that first year. Now I post when the Spirit moves me. Remember to Eat, Pray and find Joy in every day!
