Day 215, 8/3/2013 - Eat,  slept in as long as possible since still on "staycation." Went on the hunt for Starbucks coffee in the hotel lobby, success! The pool was very nice so we hung out there for a couple of hours. Oh, the people watching, quite entertaining! Some people should really have a personal shopper with them when swim suit shopping. Who knew tassels were such a trend...lol. We enjoyed our late check out at 2 and had a late lunch at Trevino's comida mexicana. I had a Texas Fried Burrito,  with beef, beans, chili and queso. All was pretty good but their guacamole and flan did not make our list! Then I traveled to my next destination of the weekend, to friends in east Texas. Yes, this girl can eat Tex-Mex for three meals a day. We had tostadas with beef, beans, and fresh cheeses, cilantro,  salsa and sour cream. Delicious! After dinner I was treated to a glass of Glayva. "Glayva is Scottish gaelic for 'very good'. The finest scotch whiskies and exotic ingredients give Glayva its distinctive,  delicious taste." Even if you are not a scotch drinker, you might like this wonderful blend of sweet rich goodness! Not available in the states, I am always honored when offered a glass to enjoy with a friend.

Pray, a simple prayer for communication with those where communication is not good. I pray that I will do everything in my power to improve and/or continue communication with family or friends that I am not great with keeping up with. This can be so difficult especially in the case of divorce. Joy, my joy was in sharing time with such good friends this weekend. Traveling to exotic locations is great fun, but there is much joy to be had in staying close to home but going into "vacation mode" even if only for a weekend.
