Monday, 8/5/2013


Day 217, 8/5/2013 - Eat, back from my "Staycation" I attempted to be good with protein drinks and bars until the evening. Once home from work, I was achey and gravitated to comfort food and prepared one of my favorites, Spicey Mac 'n Cheese Shells. Pray, I pray that I can get on plan with losing a few pounds in August. It is so hard not to reward myself with food whenever I accomplish a task or have a job well done. There is good food to be had that is healthier for me than all of my "reward" and "comfort" foods. I need to pray this prayer daily! Why does pasta have to taste so good?! Joy, I was quite productive at the office today. Now, if I can just come up with better rewards than eating...lol.

  1. If you build healthy habits you won't even really want that pasta. I almost never eat it. And there's totally awesome rewards for eating healthy possibly including less aches and pains and not feeling so tired ;) you can do it! Think about what you eat not the quantity. It's so much more fun than limits. I know some tasty places I can take you to eat to get you inspired to toss those 'bad' foods to the wind. There's even some 'pasta'... ;;;)
