Day 192, 7/11/2013 - Eat, today is 7/11 and all 7/11 stores offer you a free slurpee in celebration of the date. I was transported back to my childhood when I used to save up and walk around the corner to the neiborhood 7/11 for a Coca Cola Icee (as it was called then). The size I was given today was the small size and cost $.10 in my day. I was not sure if that made me feel young or old...lol. Ate lite for most of the day to save up for dinner at Gloria's with my fellow Moms of Twins. Gloria's has great Latin cuisine. I chose the Sampler Platter, tamale, pupusa, yucca, plantain black beans, black rice and sour cream. They also have great margaritas and mojitos. Pray, I pray for relief from a current illness. I left our dinner meeting early because I was not feeling well. Pretty sure it will require a visit to the doctor for medication. Joy, my joy is in the fact that I have a job with the benefit of health insurance. After a good night's sleep I will visit the doctor tomorrow for treatment and medication.
