Day 157, 6/6/2013 - Eat, I have been good about not skipping meals this week. I usually get so busy at work that I skip breakfast, lunch or both and eat too much at dinner. Again, it is amazing what you can do if you actually go grocery shopping. I toasted a bagel for breakfast on the go and had a cup of soup for lunch on this cool rainy day. Met my friend, Michelle, at Cheddar's after enjoying my scheduled massage. We enjoyed their Thursday all day Happy Hour and I had one of my favorites, Baked Potato Soup. Pray, I pray for a friend, Cindy, who is stepping into the divorce process. I do not wish it upon anyone and pray that she have faith, courage and conviction in the coming days.

Joy, my joy was in reading the June theme of my "Plan B" calendar. June's theme, Never Underestimate the Power of a "Hissie Fit." Excerpts -  "Life is all about give and take. But some issues can't be compromised...you have to draw a line in the sand, climb up on a soapbox...The problem is your voice can drown amid the roar of the masses. Once in awhile you have to stomp your feet, scream at the top of your lungs, and throw a few lightening bolts to be heard. Never underestimate the power of a hissie fit." I have certainly thrown a few hissie fits over the past several years while going through divorce. I stepped up on my soapbox regarding certain issues so my voice could be heard. Some issues were heard and acknowledged and others were not, but it was not for lack of trying on my part. I am proud to say that I did not allow my integrity to be compromised. I am wiser, stronger and blessed in new ways every day.
